How do I start? To get started, both you and your pup(s) will need to be registered into our online system. Click the "Register" button located on the homepage. You can follow the linked instructions to access our online system. Vaccination records can then be sent over via email. The entire registration process will need to be completed, and vaccinations verified by our staff before scheduling of a Temperament Test. This process may take 24-48 hours.
-
What is a Temperament Test?A Temperament Test is a minimum of two hours long and assures us that your dog is okay to be around others. This test is required for any future boarding or daycare dogs. The cost of the temperament test is $30.00. If the dog(s) pass the Temperament Test, they are welcome to stay for the remainder of the daycare day at no additional charge. We offer Temperament Test's Monday-Thursday, and Saturday by appointment.

What vaccinations are required? We require a 6-month Bordetella vaccination and the 1 or 3 year Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. While Bordetella is typically a yearly vaccination, for dogs that are in a more social setting, it is recommended every 6 months. Here at Beach Dog, we require that all of our dogs receive the Bordetella vaccination every 6 months to protect every dog’s immune system. Vaccinations may be uploaded via email or the PetEexc owner portal. *Please note that your dog must be registered with us before we can review their vaccinations
-
Are the dogs separated? Our pups are separated based on size, temperament, and play-style. All small and large dogs are separated from each other. From that point, dogs that tend to be calmer are grouped together, and those with higher energy levels are grouped together.
-
Does my dog have to be scheduled to attend?Yes. All dogs must be scheduled through our website or the PetExec app at least 24 hours in advance before coming to daycare, boarding or grooming. All grooming appointments are put in as a request and must be verified by staff. You may download the PetExec mobile app to easily schedule your pup. There are links to download this app on the homepage of our site.
-
Are there any breed restrictions? No. We do not have any breed restrictions; however, if a dog’s temperament is not the right fit for our facility they will be turned away.
-
Do you require that dogs be spayed/neutered?Yes. All dogs over the age of one must be spayed or neutered to attend daycare or boarding.
-
Can I view my pup while they are at Beach Dog?Yes. To access the cameras, you can go into our online system or sign in through the PetExec mobile app. From there you will choose the webcam tab. We have two webcams available for clients to access, both for our outside yards. However, these cameras are only accessible once your dogs have been signed in and for limited hours during the day. Cameras can be accessed from 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Saturday. If you are looking for specific videos or photos of your pup, please look towards one of our many social media pages. We post daily on Instagram and Facebook.
-
Do you feed lunch? We feed lunch by request. For any daycare dogs over the age of one year, there is a $2.00 fee.
-
Do Packages Expire?Yes. All daycare and boarding packages are set to expire after 1-year from the purchase date.

In addition, a security guard drives around the developmental plaza throughout the night. In case of emergency, there is a fire station located directly across the street. Our facility has a brand new fire prevention system.

What are the different boarding accommodations? Our Cabana Boarding option is a private kennel. These rooms come with a raised bed and the space for a personal blanket that a dog may have from home. Our Playroom Boarding option is for dogs who want to spend the night with friends. Dogs that use this option will spend the night in one of the open playrooms used for daycare with one or two friends that they made throughout the day. Dogs using this option are not allowed any items from home in the room with them. Our Cottage Boarding option is for small and medium size dogs only. This option features a 4x6 fully furnished room with a raised bed, private couch, ambient lighting and a sound machine. Dogs staying in this option may bring a blanket from home. This option is best for small pups with anxiety.
